i tested two shades: 330 (Classic Tan) and 328 (Sun Beige). i went with Classic Tan first but it was a bit too dark --- i haven't gotten as tan as i normally do in the summer --- so i went back and went one shade lighter which matches perfectly.

L'Oreal recommends applying this foundation directly from the bottle with your fingertips for best results. but since i'm not a huge fan of applying makeup with my fingers (it's just a bit too messy for me) i made an attempt to apply this with a MAC 190 foundation brush, just to see how well it would apply. i got decent results, but because this formula is extremely liquidy it was hella messy.
when i finally gave in and applied with my fingers i was surprised by how well it melted into my skin. no streaks. extremely lightweight and decent coverage. it feels like second skin, making it a perfect foundation for the hot summer days.
i also tested this foundation with & without a primer and setting powder. it holds up well without both, but i liked it best using a primer but no setting powder. Magic Nude has a nice matte finish all on it's own and it doesn't really oxidize. somehow the longer it wears, the better looking it gets and the more it looks like your skin.
i'm kinda mad that L'Oreal didn't release this earlier in this summer. now that i've discovered it i may or may not have considered stock piling this stuff before everyone discovers how AWESOME it is and i can no longer find it on shelves :-)
L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder retails for $12.99 and can be found at your local drugstore and Ulta.
