i haven't had the time to post as regularly as i used to. but it's all for a good reason...i'm back working! it is taking me some time to get accustomed to my new schedule, but i will be resuming a more regular blogging schedule over the next few weeks. i've got so much to show you guys, so stay tuned!
i know you've probably seen these all over the blogosphere, but i wanted to chime in and give my opinion. when MAC released the In Extra Dimension Collection a few weeks ago i couldn't resist ordering from the collection. while it's true that i need another highlighter like i need a hole in my head and that i debated whether or not i needed all three, ultimately, my debit card lost that battle...
here's what MAC has to say:
the MAC In Extra Dimension Highlighters come in 3 shades:"A liquid-powder highlighter with prismatic reflections that sculpts, highlights an doodles the face. The cool, creamy near-fluid formula creates a luminous, well-defined finish. Wears 10 hours."
♥ Glorify - copper with golden shimmer
♥ Superb - soft peachy nude with multi-dimensional shimmer
♥ Whisper of Gilt - light soft white with shimmery sheen
at first i didn't want to mess up the pattern, but i quickly got over that. of all of the items from MAC that i have purchased over the last few months, these highlighters are probably my favorite.

the formula is so smooth and though each highlighter is metallic in color, MAC has somehow managed to make a product that isn't overpowering and glitter-bombish (yes, i know that's not a word). i was a little worried about how the formula would work with my oily skin, but it left my skin looking luminous, but not greasy. i couldn't really tell these were meant to be "creamy, near-liquid" products, it's kinda hard to explain. they definitely have a great slip/silkiness to them, but very different than a cream product. and while i didn't get 10 hours wear out of them (i imagine those with dry skin may get longer wear time), i did get a solid work day out of them and really that's really all i need from cosmetics products.
MAC's Extra Dimension Highlighters retail for $29 and while it looks as though these are sold out on MAC's website, you may still be able to find them at MAC counters and freestanding stores.
did you pick up anything from the In Extra Dimension Collection?
